About me.
I have a dog, she is an english cocker spaniel, but people always think she is a springer because of her markings.
I love to cook. My dream vacation is probably to stay at the private home of a chef and be taught new techniques and treasured recipes. My culinary nemesis is beef stroganoff – it never competes with my stepmom’s (which is to die for).
I place a high value on a good sense of humor. That’s a subjective attribute to be certain, but important nonetheless.
I have really gotten into running since we moved to Seattle, but I’m not sure if that is a credit to Seattle or just discovering a new joy.
I’ve lived all over the U.S., courtesy of divorced parents and the whims of law school admissions. From my travels I have learned to appreciate our country’s microcosms in a way that I think few people ever do. On my domestic travel agenda: Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, the rest of the Smithsonian museums (those will take a lifetime), Boston and Yellowstone.
I also love to read. My favorite genres at the moment are satire and detective fiction, but that changes with the weekend edition of the Journal because the recommendations send me running to the library for the latest gem.
I think that’s pretty much it.
